About me

My name is Mariska and I'm a Canadian illustrator and graphic designer. After having worked in the hospitality industry for years, I decided to go back to school at Lasalle College in Montreal to study graphic design so I could find work as a creative.

I've enjoyed drawing, doing crafts, reading comic books and watching animated series for the greater part of my life and you can find a lot of this influence in my work. I love learning and still take online classes every so often to learn about the business of art and broaden my skills. My studies have helped me better understand design principles and how to effectively reach your audience, among other things. I also enjoy learning languages and fluently speak English, French and Spanish.

I am eager to share my love for visual storytelling by creating illustrations and designs that people can enjoy!
